Jesse

Decisions she isn’t ready to make.
A life that no longer makes sense.

Jesse was young. She had hopes for the future. She had faith in God, and that faith had been tested. She knew he would never leave her, never forsake her …
until the night he does.
~
A horrifying night leaves Jesse second-guessing the one thing she never doubted. She isn't young anymore. The damage can't be undone. And she can no longer trust the God she loves.
~
Bible Camp had always been her refuge, a place of strength. If she could find God again, it would be there.

Thank you for this story. It kept me riveted to my seat until 3:30am. It was fairly realistic, (I felt that Jesse overcame her emotional battle to become intimate with her husband too easily, having known many people who have been in similar circumstances), however barring that, it was a great story. I look forward to reading your next one. Keep up the good work.

Thanks for reading! And for the constructive criticism. I will have to think about that one.

Hi Corin

I wrote a short review on the book in my blog. If you're interested to have a read the direct link is http://junjet.blogspot.com/2007/08/jesse-review.html

As for other feedback there are some questionable approaches to how it played out too easily (happily ever after). Ie Michael and Jesse getting married so suddenly? Their relationship was rapidly (a bit too rapid) built over one summer. There was not much indication about the strength of their relationship to previous camp/s. If there was heavier indication on previous developments on their relationship then their love for each other may have been more realistic.

However I enjoyed how you made these characters approach their relationship that most couples do not tend to do, placing their love for God first.
